Certainly the life and times of my 25-plus year acting career in Hollywood and on the Broadway stage... the days of having one role after another, often opposite name stars. However, it was during lean periods between gigs that 

invariably I could be found at the typewriter attempting to add flesh on a bare bones idea that just might morph into a novel or screenplay.
